Linda Crabtree (Dorothy Crabtree’s daughter) approached and worked with The City to develop the Historic panels, unveiled three years ago. Your memories are an important part of the history of the carousel .. I’ve shared this to our Friends of the Lakeside Park Carousel Facebook page - Our group works closely with The City ... and are actively compiling everyone’s memories as part of that history ... and are in the process of compiling a
more detailed history timeline ... aka: all the groups’ who participated over the years - of which there were many
from the time The Carousel was gifted to The City until 1999 when The Friends of The Lakeside Park Carousel was formed.

Kelly Edgar Ronnie Wong and I worked together on restoring an animal, though I can't remember which one it was. I think that the older more experienced students worked on restoring the shields and paintings around the top of the carousel and we younger ones worked on the animals.

John House My older sister, Marianne, told me her art class was involved with this as well.
