A not-for-profit organization in partnership with the City of St. Catharines and comprised of volunteers, The Friends of the Carousel was formed, to provide the funding and manpower for the meticulous restorative work of the historic Lakeside Park Carousel’s Characters, Chariots, Scallops, and Shields, while the City of St. Catharines provides us a place to work.

Opening Day is May 16, 2026 at 11:00am
Weekend hours are 11:00am to 8:00pm until Canada Day weekend.
Open DAILY from 11:00am to 8:00pm beginning Canada Day weekend until Labour Day.
Open on Weekends from Labour Day until Thanksgiving from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
